Secret Santa has a reputation for forgettable gifts: the novelty socks, the scented candle, the chocolate box picked up on the way to the office. But with a little thought, you can be the person whose gift everyone talks about afterwards.
The secret is to make it personal, even on a small budget.
A mug with a portrait of their pet
If your Secret Santa match has a dog or cat, you already have the perfect idea. A mug featuring a hand-drawn portrait of their pet is personal, useful every single day, and guaranteed to get a reaction when it is unwrapped.
At Haven and Whiskers, all you need is one photo of their pet. A quick look at their social media or a photo they have shared at work is usually enough.
- Fits most Secret Santa budgets
- Used every morning, so it is never forgotten in a drawer
- Completely unique to them
- The gift everyone else wishes they had received
