The better the photo, the better your custom artwork. Here's how to pick the perfect shot.
✓Good Photos
Clear & well-lit
Natural daylight, no shadows on the face.
Facing the camera
Eyes and face fully visible, not turned away.
Close-up shot
Pet fills most of the frame — not too far away.
High resolution
Sharp and in focus, not pixelated or grainy.
✕Avoid These
Blurry or dark
Motion blur or poor lighting hides details.
Turned away
Side profiles make it hard to capture their look.
Too far away
Pet is a tiny speck in a large background.
Covered by accessories
Leashes or hands blocking the face confuse our artists.
